Artist statement

I consider myself very lucky, most people spend a lifetime trying to figure out what or

who they want to be…

I have always wanted to be an artist and at 25 I became one professionally!

There has been no looking back for me.

I spend my days doing what comes naturally: collecting, cutting, experimenting, playing

and discovering!

Expressing the joys, laughter, ups and downs, the trials and triumphs of life and

relationships as I go through my own.

“My work is not for everyone and that is ok, my aim as an artist is to make art that you can

love or hate but you definitely cannot ignore! If my art evokes a feeling in you positive or

negative, my work as an artist is done. “

I am now in my forties and with life’s unpredictability I find myself being truer to “me”

than I ever have before.

My work is my life

&

My best work is about my life.

Every day is a new adventure, from which emerge new works …….

The only constant in life is change…

I used to hate change,

Now I embrace the journey as it is my belief that everything happens at the right time and

for the best.

My art has saved me in the darkest of moments.

I am grateful to have this gift of creation and to be able to share it with the world.
